"Today a reader, tomorrow a leader" - Margaret Fuller
AR is a BIG part of our curriculum at McKinley! Each student is expected to read at least 20 minutes at home every day. It is imperative for parents and guardians to ensure their student is up to date with their AR reading and testing.

*NOTE : You will only have 30 minutes during AR Fridays (see above due dates) to take your Vocabulary Quiz, AR Quiz, visit the library to return your book, check out a new book, AND return to class to complete the AR Reflection Form. You MUST know what time your class begins in order to be back on time. We will begin class promptly 30 minutes after the tardy bell rings, so it is your responsibility to ensure the completion of ALL of these tasks within the allotted time frame.
Returning to class late on AR Fridays will result in a loss of tickets.
If, during class, you do not have time to visit the MMAM Library or time to complete the AR Reflection Form, you must do so either before school or during Big Break.
